After 6 years of working with her client’s one on one now with 10 years total in the Wine Industry, LEANwine was founded by its Company Director, Nita Hedditch.

Having first worked for Simeon Wines in the Murray Darling and Yering Station in the Yarra Valley, then consulting to small and large wineries all over Australia, Nita has an intimate understanding of both the day-to-day and strategic challenges faced by the wine industry. With a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in both Accounting and IT, and a background in continuous improvement including formal qualifications in AS/NZS ISO 9001, 9002 & 9003, this has led to a varied career which commenced in the Australasian Oil Industry. This work has involved the finance functions of the companies she has worked for and with.  It has also included distribution, logistics, and export and so these feature in the many tools in the kit.  Not being satisfied with previous experience, personal and practice membership with the NIA provides for ongoing knowledge growth in many areas.

Seeing a need for her clients to have their accounting and business needs taken care of by ethical people with specialist knowledge, LEANwine has structures and plans to provide ongoing support and services that are both flexible and cost efficient. LEANwine also aims to bring the best of tools available to drive efficiency that delivers bottom line results.

Her tenacious resolve to help her clients be more efficient and get the results they need is remembered by the people she has worked with.
